🎉 Our Friends Closet is headed to the Rotary Slidell Heritage Festival, and we couldn’t be more excited. We’re one of the nonprofits chosen to receive proceeds from this year’s event — This support helps us continue serving 60+ schools with essentials for homeless and low‑income students.
And yes… it’s still just two of us (Wendy + Tina!) running this little nonprofit that does BIG things for local students. Opportunities like this festival help us keep shelves stocked and meet urgent needs all year long.
We’ll be running a drink booth, and we need volunteers who want to help AND have a good time. Because let’s be honest… it’s not all work. The festival has amazing local bands, great food, and that classic Slidell festival energy.
