Some people think running a nonprofit means fancy galas, ribbon cuttings, and photo ops.
Meanwhile, my weekend:

…approximately 4 million pairs of school uniform pants and uniform shirts.
No salary, no staff — just a mountain of khaki uniform pants that could probably qualify as its own zip code.
But honestly? This is the kind of “glamour” we wouldn’t trade for anything.
Every clean, folded pair of pants means a student in our commumity gets to walk into school feeling confident, comfortable, and cared for.
So yes — nonprofit life is messy, sweaty, and definitely not Instagram‑glam…
But it’s full of heart, purpose, and the best kind of impact.
